We have partnered with the Langara Humanitarian Fund to provide fully funded educational pathways for 2SLGTBTQIA+ newcomers. We have raised $97,000 for 2SLGBTQIA+ newcomer education awards and scholarships.
Education will give 2SLGBTQIA+ newcomers more control over their future. Not only will it help them integrate into Canadian culture, education will provide 2SLGBTQIA+ newcomers the skills they need to achieve their dreams.
It is our goal to offer two-year scholarships for Langara certificates, diplomas, and degree programs. The length of support will vary depending on the student’s program of study and will include tuition, books, and other needs.
