A huge thank you to all supporters of our Education Scholarship Fund Matching Campaign with Langara College. We raised $43,000 from individual and corporate donations and proceeds from the Butterfly Ball.
Langara College matched another $43,000 for a total of $86,000 raised for fully paid LGBTQ+ Refugee/Newcomer educational pathways with Langara College’s Certificate and Diploma programs.
Our first Butterfly Ball nearly sold out. The room was cozy but the energy was one of community coming together for LGBTQ+ Refugees and Newcomers.
